The new Duratec variant utilises a modern potent alloy 16 valve DOHC with racing induction and exhaust in order to develop up to 203Bhp and 174 ft/lbs of torque in a car that tops the scales at only 550 kgs. With a power to weight ratio of over 360 Bhp per ton, the broad spread of torque enables extraordinary overtaking performance, the car taking just 2.1 seconds from 50 to 70 in third gear. Refined in city traffic, the Duratec delivers astonishing real world pace.
